Isla Crawling

Isla's finally crawling!!!  She's been in the crawling stance for quite some time and was falling over when she would move forward.  To get around she would turn and rotate her body 360 degrees or she would roll places, quite funny to watch.  For the past week and a half or so she has been taking tiny crawling movements, and now she is all over the place.  You take your eyes off her and next thing you see is Isla pushing all the buttons on the cable and dvd players, and she also managed to pull a knob off.  So as for our house being Isla proofed...we now have to buy a new tv component tower with a door and also a new coffee table (ours is glass) because she keeps bumping her head on it as she tries to pull herself up. She is fun to watch and she gets so excited to go places on her own.

Isla Goes Paddle Boarding

Well, she didn't really stand up and paddle around...of course.  But Ryan and I went in the harbor last weekend and Ryan took her back and forth along the water's edge.  She had so much fun sitting there on the board going for a ride.

Disneyland Again

Now that Isla is getting bigger, she is enjoying more attractions at Disneyland.  She loved the carousel and the petting zoo.

Isla Meets Great-Grammie

Two weeks ago we flew to Florida so Isla could meet her Great-Grammie (Ryan's Grammie), it was her 90th birthday.  Ryan's parents also flew there too, so it was a great trip to see everyone again.  Isla also got to meet Ryan's Uncle Bob, his wife Laura and their 4 year-old daughter, Katherine.
