Isla's in Maui!

So we arrived in Maui last Sunday and we are still here enjoying ourselves. I thought I would post some pictures from the last few days. So far we have had a great and relaxing vacation. We have been playing in the pool with Isla and also taking her in the nice warm ocean...so much nicer than home. Anyways, it's been great spending so much time all together and going on our first family vacation!

MONDAY
Our first full day here, a family photo by the koi pond where we're staying

We went into Lahaina the first night to walk around, and we walked under the Banyan tree.  It was amazing...it's one tree with large branches and roots that stretch over a 200 foot area, pretty amazing to see

In Lahaina we also went into the old courthouse which still had a jail, which we of course couldn't resist putting Isla in.

Isla can give a kiss when you ask her and now when you ask her where my nose is, she will touch noses with you, it's pretty dang cute
 TUESDAY
Isla and I in the ocean, it's nice and calm and especially warm.

Isla crawling around our place exploring every space she can get into
 WEDNESDAY
Isla yesterday morning sitting on the balcony enjoying the weather.

Giving Da-Da a kiss

Ryan went stand-up paddle boarding yesterday in front of our place

So funny...ok so this man was swimming pretty far out and he got scared and Ryan had to go and rescue him.  You will notice that this man is wearing an awesome speedo!...Only Ryan

Isla having a snack by the pool

Isla and I were enjoying ourselves last night sitting by the pool while Ryan went our surfing for a little bit.
 THURSDAY
Today, we all drove north to explore the island and wow...very curvy roads, we all got a little car sick. (I guess the road to Hana is out of the question)  We stopped on the side of the road to get some air and enjoy the scenery, it was so beautiful!

Isla and I taking in some fresh air.

After our long windy road trip we stopped for lunch

After lunch we headed to the Maui Ocean Center (aka-the aquarium).  Isla loved seeing all the fish, she tried to grab them through the glass.

Isla sitting in front of the large open ocean exhibit.  They actually had a gigantic hammerhead shark and a baby tiger shark, that was really cool.
